Head of the Department of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation


Education:
Higher professional education (preferably in international relations, economics, management, or technical sciences).

Work experience:
At least 5 years in the field, including experience with international organizations or participation in international projects.

Required knowledge:

  • Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of science, education, and international cooperation;
  • International treaties and agreements regulating scientific and technical cooperation;
  • Rules for conducting negotiations and concluding international agreements;
  • Basics of diplomatic protocol and business etiquette;
  • Modern methods of planning and organizing scientific projects;
  • Foreign language (English — required, additional languages are an advantage).

Must be able to:

  • Organize international cooperation in science and technology;
  • Conduct negotiations with foreign partners;
  • Prepare drafts of international agreements and contracts;
  • Coordinate the organization’s participation in international conferences, exhibitions, and projects;
  • Represent the organization in international scientific and business structures;
  • Ensure support and monitoring of international project implementation.

Leading Specialist of the Department of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation


Education:
Higher professional education (international relations, management, economics, linguistics, or technical sciences).

Work experience:
At least 3 years in the field, preferably with experience interacting with foreign partners or participating in international projects.

Required knowledge:

  • Basics of Kazakhstan’s legislation in the field of science and international cooperation;
  • Rules of business correspondence and international document flow;
  • Principles of intercultural communication;
  • Methods of planning and analyzing international projects;
  • Foreign language (English — required).

Must be able to:

  • Prepare analytical and reference materials on international cooperation issues;
  • Participate in negotiations and meetings with foreign partners;
  • Conduct business correspondence in Russian and English;
  • Organize visits, meetings, conferences, and events with foreign delegations;
  • Support the implementation of international contracts and projects.
