Biography
In 1982, he graduated with honors from the Kazakh Institute of Chemical Technology with a degree in Electrothermal Production Technology. Doctor of Technical Sciences (2001), Professor (2004), Academician of the International Engineering Academy (2006) and Academician of the National Engineering Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2008). A well-known scientist in the field of metallurgy and chemical technology and a teacher, organizer of higher education and science. He has passed all stages of organizational, scientific, pedagogical and professional activity – from an engineer of the department to the rector of the university and the head of the department of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He was a deputy of the Karaganda regional Maslikhat of the ivth convocation and in 2006 participated in the work of the state commission on the creation of the Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He is a member of the Steering Committee of the Samgau Center for Scientific and Technological Initiatives Foundation and various working groups and the commission for the development of higher education and science in the country, scientific and technical councils and specialized councils for the defense of doctoral dissertations.
Scientific activity is devoted to the problems of organization of complex processing of polymetallic ores, man-made and industrial wastes of the mining, metallurgical and chemical industries. He has more than 250 published scientific and methodological works, including 9 scientific monographs, 9 textbooks, 32 copyright certificates, patents of the Republic of Kazakhstan and one scientific discovery. Scientific developments were awarded with the diploma of the first degree of the VDNH of the Kazakh SSR (1988), the silver medal of the VDNH of the USSR (1989), in 2020 he was awarded the silver medal of P.Kapitsa "Author of scientific discovery" (2020) and the medal and diploma of the winner of the academician E.Buketov prize "Author of the best project -2022" (2022He has prepared 3 candidates of sciences and is the supervisor of doctoral students' dissertations. For special services in the field of science and education, the development of society, he was awarded the badge "Honorary Worker of Education" (2004), the gratitude of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev (2005), the jubilee medal "10 zhyl Astana" (2007), the silver medal named after A.Baitursynov (2008 G.) and his badge. Y.Altynsarin Medal (2008), badge "For Services to the development of science of the Republic of Kazakhstan" (2010), jubilee medal "20th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan" (2011), medal of Academician A.S.Kulenov "For a huge contribution to the development of the domestic mining and metallurgical industry" (2016) and honorary certificates issued by sectoral government agencies.Activity
