The purpose of the project
To develop a technology for the integrated processing of industrial carbon and silica-containing waste from coke and rice production, ensuring the complete utilization of the carbon and mineral components of these wastes, producing a new selective composite sorbent and a resource-saving durable high-temperature material.
Expected results
Following the results of the project implementation,:
- a technology has been developed for the complex processing of industrial waste from coke and rice production to produce a new selective composite sorbent and a resource-saving durable high-temperature material for hydro and pyrometallurgical processes;
- 3 articles have been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals indexed in SCIE and included in the 1st (first) and (or) 2nd (second) quartile of the impact factor in the Web of Science database (presumably Materials, Minerals);
- 1 patent application has been filed for an invention (presumably "A method for processing carbon and silica-containing waste") with the Kazakhstan Patent agency RSE NIIS;
- 2 papers presented at two international conferences;
- completed and defended 2 PhD dissertations.
