Anar Mukhametzhanova: there are so many opportunities for young people!

25.02.2021

Anar Mukhametzhanova, who is the same age as independent Kazakhstan, is one of the successful examples of representatives of the modern generation. The girl is sure that strengthening the country's position on the world stage is possible only through the joint efforts of working progressive youth.

Anar has been as single-minded as Independent Kazakhstan since she was at school. She remembers when it was time to choose a profession, she didn't have to think long.

"At school, I really loved chemistry lessons. It was the most interesting subject for me. She graduated with honors from K. I. Satpayev Kazakh National Technical University with a degree in Chemical Technology of Inorganic Substances. While studying for a master's degree, she completed an internship in Spain at a technical university."

Thanks to her love and passion for one of the most important and extensive fields of natural sciences, Anar entered the top 20 of the best graduates of the university.

Today our heroine is a spouse and mother of two children. He continues his doctoral studies at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and simultaneously works at the National Center for Integrated Processing of Mineral Raw Materials of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty as a junior researcher at the Laboratory of Rare Metals. The young chemist is convinced that it is very important to do what you love.

"Our center is aimed at systematically solving problems at all stages of the mining and metallurgical cycle: from ore extraction, enrichment, processing, to the production of marketable products. I work in a research laboratory. We are developing new technologies for processing ores (including low-quality, difficult-to-process ores) from various deposits. I like the research work. It is very important to realize that you are doing something important for science, and most importantly for the science of your Homeland."

Is it difficult for a fragile woman to combine everyday life and work? Anar replies that it can be difficult, but she manages. Hiking in the mountains helps a young mother to relax from the daily hustle and bustle of the city.

"In our free time, my husband and I like to go to the mountains. It is impossible to live in Almaty and not fall in love with our mountains. I feel like an absolutely free person there. They toughen me mentally and physically."

In her opinion, today the peers of Independence are the face of modern Kazakhstan, and the new generation should be equipped with all the necessary skills to build a dynamic and sustainable future.
