The research work of the South Kazakhstan University and the National Center for Integrated processing of mineral raw materials of the Republic of Kazakhstan is recognized as a scientific discovery

The research work put forward by the National Center for Integrated Processing of Mineral Raw Materials of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the M.Auezov South Kazakhstan University has been recognized as a scientific discovery.

The research paper "The phenomena of accelerating the formation of iron silicides during the interaction of silicon oxide with carbon and iron" was recognized.

At the extraordinary Academic Council of the University, the Director General of the RSE "National Center for Integrated Processing of Mineral Raw Materials of the Republic of Kazakhstan", Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, twice Winner of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Academician Abdurasul Zharmenov presented the Rector of the M.Auezov University Daria Kozhamzharova with the "Diploma of Scientific discovery Organization" of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and the co-author of this discovery, the head of the Department "Metallurgy", Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Viktor Mikhailovich Shevko – a gold medal named after Peter Kapitsa and a "Diploma of the author of the discovery".
