On May 27, 2025, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the RSE "National Center for Integrated Processing of Mineral Raw Materials of the Republic of Kazakhstan" (RSE "NC KPMS RK") and the industrial company "ELCOS" LLP.
The ELKOS company was founded in 2004 and is a domestic manufacturer of energy systems and process automation systems (APCS). The company's activities are carried out on the basis of the state license GSL No. 016128 dated September 9, 2004 in the field of architectural, urban planning and construction and installation activities of the II category.
The subject of the Memorandum is cooperation between the Parties in the field of education and science, assistance to the effective functioning of higher and postgraduate education systems, as well as innovative and scientific and technical cooperation in the field of joint research and development programs, in order to:
- development of Kazakhstani technologies and innovations;
- creation of joint competence centers;
- promoting information about the Parties' activities in the media;
- exchange of experience and results of work in innovative and scientific-technical fields of activity;
- promotion and dissemination of developments;
- implementation of applied research in innovative, scientific, technical and educational fields of activity;
- scientific and methodological support of projects and expert activities;
- exchange of experience and results in educational and research fields;
- implementation of measures aimed at the development of innovations, including patent activities, technology transfer and participation in grant commercialization projects;
- implementation of measures aimed at the accreditation and certification of the equipment available to the parties, including the interlaboratory comparison
- active cooperation in other areas of activity agreed upon by the Parties.
Cooperation between the parties involves holding joint events in various formats, including symposiums, seminars, scientific and practical conferences, round tables, advanced training and professional retraining courses, master classes, internships, as well as the implementation of joint research and commercialization projects.
