The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan launches the Republican competition of innovation proposals

National Agency for Technological Development JSC, with the support of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, launches the Republican Contest of Innovation Proposals "РАЦИОНАЛИЗАТОР.KZ " - 2013.

This competition is designed to stimulate the innovative activity of the population and promote innovative entrepreneurship, as well as to show the importance of the innovation movement in the modernization of the economy, real innovation heroes and their development. For the first time such a project was launched in 2010 and was broadcast on the Khabar TV channel, and since 2011 the project has been broadcast on the national TV channel Kazakhstan.

The winners of the 2012 competition: the first place in the nomination "The Best Innovation Proposal of the Year" and a prize of 1.5 million tenge went to Ibadulla Umbetaev and Orazbek Bigaraev, employees of the Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Cotton Production in Zhetysai, Vadim Savitsky, Director of KSP steel LLP (Pavlodar), and an employee of Atyrau Refinery LLP."Aigul Aitbaykyzy" (Atyrau), having received 1 million and 750 thousand tenge, respectively.

JSC NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" became the winner in the nomination "The best innovation support system at the enterprise".

The prize fund in 2013 was distributed as follows: 1st place - 2.5 million tenge, 2nd place - 1.5 million tenge and 3rd place – 1 million tenge. The total prize fund of the Competition is 5 (five) million tenge.

The competition "INNOVATOR.KZ" 2013 involves identifying and encouraging not only the innovators themselves, but also enterprises implementing innovation proposals. The television format of the competition consists of a series of programs dedicated to the winners and prize-winners of the competition and includes two nominations: "The best innovation solution of the year", "The best support system for innovation in the enterprise".

Individuals who develop innovation proposals implemented at enterprises in Kazakhstan, as well as legal entities with a functioning innovation support system, can participate in the competition.

Applications are accepted until August 15th of the current year.
