The results of modern research in the field of complex processing of mineral raw materials, new technologies of metallurgical processing of mineral and man-made raw materials, ensuring the completeness of extraction of related components were discussed during the international scientific and practical conference Abishevsky Readings-2016: "Innovations in complex processing of mineral raw materials", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan academician Zhantore Abishev and the 60th anniversary of twice laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan academician Abdurasul Zharmenov.
The conference participants took part in the round table "Metallurgical projects within the framework of the transnational Silk Road program. The moderator of the meeting, Albert Rau, Deputy Minister for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, noted that in the context of the crisis in the economy, when prices for a number of metals are seriously falling, it is necessary to use human and intellectual potential.
– There is a second side to the coin. World practice shows that in such conditions, those who know how to mobilize, introduce new technologies and reduce production costs survive," said A. Rau. – Today we see that Russian science can offer effective solutions. The scientific school founded by Kanysh Satpayev is not only about geology, but also about the complex processing of mineral raw materials. The relevance of scientific developments is increasing today.
The conference was organized by the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Center for Integrated Processing of Mineral Raw Materials of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
