The Springer Nature Awards ceremony was held in Almaty. The titles were awarded to the most published authors and organizations in Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries.
Azdaa Kotani, President of Springer Nature Publishing House, welcomed the representatives of science from Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries. He noted that the ceremony allows scientists to share positive experiences, demonstrate their own achievements and receive recognition of the importance of their work.
"For the third year in a row, Kazakhstan has been gathering scientists from Central Asia for the ceremony and is currently the undisputed leader in this region in scientific publications and research. At the same time, we are doing serious work to improve the quality and increase the number of scientific studies and publications of Kazakhstani scientists in foreign rating journals, conducting trainings and master classes for Kazakhstani scientists. During this time, we have conducted more than 290 field seminars, and trained and advanced more than 7,000 people. Thus, Kazakhstani authors published in Springer Nature: 169 publications in 2011, 225 in 2012, 277 in 2013, 395 in 2014, 388 in 2015, and 397 in 2016. And from January to September 2017, Kazakhstani scientists have already published 357 publications," said Azdaa Kotani, Vice President of Springer Nature Publishing house.
Laureates in the Springer Nature nomination "Top most published organizations in Kazakhstan" for high rates of publication activity in journals published by Springer Nature: Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, L. The contribution of Murat Zhurinov, President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was highly appreciated by Springer Nature Publishing house and he was awarded a diploma for his significant contribution to the development of science in Kazakhstan.

The Springer Nature Awards are held in Kazakhstan for the third year in a row and are organized by the National Center for State Scientific and Technical Expertise in cooperation with the international publishing house Springer Nature.
