The XXII International Scientific Conference of Refractories and Metallurgists was held in Moscow (Russia) on the basis of the National Research Technological University "MISiS" (Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys) on May 22-23 this year.
It is a unique platform for discussion and resolution of topical issues by representatives of the metallurgical, refractory and related industries of Russia, the CIS countries, Europe and China.
The annual event is a platform for discussion and resolution of topical issues by representatives of the metallurgical, refractory, scientific, raw materials and related industries: representatives of companies Severstal, EVRAZ, MMK, Krasny Oktyabr, Metalloinvest, Rusal ITC, SPbNTC, MISiS, SPbTI (TU), Magnezit Group, Dinur, Sukholozhsky Refractory Plant, Bogdanovichi Refractories, Seven, Chosun and many others.
The conference was attended by employees of the Astana branch of the RSE "NC KPMS RK" with the report "Experience of scientific and technical cooperation in the field of production and sale of refractory materials".
When performing work, AF RSE NC KPMS RK practices concluding cooperation agreements with various industrial enterprises, according to which the Parties develop, produce and jointly provide refractory products and materials to metallurgical units of ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, as well as high-temperature units of other industries of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
To this end, during the conference, employees of the Astana branch held constructive meetings with representatives of enterprises producing refractory materials - JSC DINUR, Magnezit Group, JSC Volzhsky Abrasive Plant, LLC Beloyarsk Factory of Asbestos Products.The branch staff also got acquainted with modern equipment for the preparation of raw materials and the production of refractory materials from various companies in Russia and China.

10 апреля в городе Астане первый заместитель генерального директора Досмурат Айткулов принял участие в V Международном экологическом конгрессе, организованном Казахстанской партией зелёных «Байтақ», с участием представителей зелёных партий, учёных и экологов из различных стран мира, а также руководителей отраслевых министерств и бизнес-структур. В рамках конгресса Досмурат Кызылбиевич выступил с докладом на тему «Проблемы переработки техногенных минеральных образований в Казахстане», в котором были рассмотрены актуальные вопросы вовлечения вторичных ресурсов в экономику, экологические вызовы и необходимость внедрения современных технологических решений. Особое внимание в выступлении было уделено существующим правовым неточностям и барьерам, ограничивающим доступ учёных к техногенно-минеральным образованиям для проведения научных исследований, а также недостаточной доступности информации о них. Указанные факторы сдерживают привлечение инвестиций и препятствуют эффективному вовлечению техногенных отходов в промышленное производство.
