From Antarctica to North America: where Kazakh technologies are used

18.04.2019

Abdurasul Zharmenov, General Director of the National Center for Integrated Processing of Mineral Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, spoke about the achievements of national science, Kazinform News Agency reports.

"Today, journalists, officials and people rarely praise Kazakhstani science. We often hear insulting statements: "Our scientists are not doing anything. They're just wasting people's money." This may be partly true. I believe that such stories arise from a lack of information. For example, our technology is used on all continents - from Antarctica to North America. Among them are such countries as Canada, Brazil, Italy, Bolivia, Brazil, China, Russia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan," Abdurasul Zharmenov said.

As reported in the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, dozens of plants and factories with investments of more than $3.5 billion have been built in different parts of the world on the basis of scientific and technical developments of the National Research and Development Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan. And the annual output of marketable products at these enterprises at current prices exceeds $4 billion.
