From June 19 to 22, 2018 at the EXPO Convention Center Astana hosted the 25th Anniversary World Mining Congress. The main objective of the Congress is to promote global innovations and exchange experience with mining industry experts from all over the world, develop science and stimulate international scientific and technical cooperation for progress in the mining and processing industry, discuss the most pressing issues of the mining and processing industry and find solutions, improve industrial safety and improve environmental protection measures.
RSE "National Center for Integrated Processing of Mineral Raw Materials of the Republic of Kazakhstan", being a member of the National Organizing Committee, held a session "Enrichment" within the framework of the All-Russian State Committee with the participation of large mining and processing enterprises and scientific organizations of Kazakhstan, as well as countries of the near and far abroad.
During the session, the following key topics were discussed:
- Modern problems of complex processing of poor, hard-to-enrich ores and man-made raw materials and ways to solve them.
- Innovative directions of complex processing of secondary raw materials.
- Issues of raw material quality management in the process chain.
- The gold mining industry: the state, problems and prospects of the industry.
- Experience in implementing equipment at enrichment plants using new technologies and highly efficient equipment to achieve guaranteed technological performance.
- Automation of technological processes and equipment.
The session was divided into the following subsections:
- Technological mineralogy;
- Industrial innovations;
- Conceptual issues of mineral processing;
- Automation, robotization;
- Stubborn gold.
The session was moderated by: Abdurasul Aldashevich Zharmenov session Chairman, General Director of the RSE NC KPMS RK, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Kazakhstan), Lyudmila Sergeevna Bolotova, Head of the Laboratory of Precious Metals of the Branch of the RSE "NC KPMS RK" GNPOPE "Kazmehanobr" (Kazakhstan).

Казахстанские ученые создают магниевое сырье
10 апреля в городе Астане первый заместитель генерального директора Досмурат Айткулов принял участие в V Международном экологическом конгрессе, организованном Казахстанской партией зелёных «Байтақ», с участием представителей зелёных партий, учёных и экологов из различных стран мира, а также руководителей отраслевых министерств и бизнес-структур. В рамках конгресса Досмурат Кызылбиевич выступил с докладом на тему «Проблемы переработки техногенных минеральных образований в Казахстане», в котором были рассмотрены актуальные вопросы вовлечения вторичных ресурсов в экономику, экологические вызовы и необходимость внедрения современных технологических решений. Особое внимание в выступлении было уделено существующим правовым неточностям и барьерам, ограничивающим доступ учёных к техногенно-минеральным образованиям для проведения научных исследований, а также недостаточной доступности информации о них. Указанные факторы сдерживают привлечение инвестиций и препятствуют эффективному вовлечению техногенных отходов в промышленное производство.
