Scientists of the National Center for Comprehensive Processing of Mineral Raw Materials of the Republic of Kazakhstan have been participating for several consecutive years in the Sustainability through Science and Technology / Sustainable Industrial Processing Summit (SIPS).
Every year, the SIPS Summit becomes a platform where hundreds of scientists from different countries, various fields of science, different levels of expertise, academic degrees, and achievements (from young researchers to Nobel Prize laureates) come together to discuss global sustainable development issues and share their solutions.
In 2024, the project team of AR 19677767, "Development of a Technology for Comprehensive Processing of Waste from Coke and Rice Production to Obtain a New Selective Composite Sorbent and Resource-Saving High-Temperature Material," presented at SIPS2024 new approaches to creating high-temperature materials using secondary resources of plant and mineral origin.
