PETROPAVLOVSK. The staff of the International Assembly of Materials Science and Nanotechnology proposed a number of projects that meet the task of accelerated industrial and innovative development in the region. Opening the meeting with them, Akim of North Kazakhstan Region Serik Bilyalov noted that one of the main problems of the day remains the provision of clean drinking water to the population. A lot is being done in this direction, for example, under the Ak Bulak program, 5.5 billion tenge was allocated to the region last year, and 6.6 billion this year.
Following the presentation, Serik Bilyalov ordered the creation of a working group that will work out in detail the technical and economic components of the above-mentioned projects within a month. Based on the group's findings, breakthrough initiatives may be included in the budget.
