Construction of a plant for the production of "Kazakh alloy" in Kyrgyzstan will begin before the end of the year.

The construction of a ferrosilicon aluminum production plant, which is patented as a "Kazakh alloy", in Kyrgyzstan will begin before the end of this year, BNews reported.kz was informed today by the president of ICMD Holding GmbH, Hein Jurgen, who is taking part in the international conference on mining and metallurgical complex in Almaty.

According to him, planning for the construction of the plant in Kyrgyzstan began back in 2011. During the two years of preparatory work, the holding company obtained a plot of land for the plant, received a 20-year guarantee from the Government of Kyrgyzstan to reduce electricity tariffs, identified an equipment supplier, and found a general contractor.
