Secretary of State of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gulshara Abdykalikova presented state awards and prizes in the field of science and technology named after al-Farabi.
The Secretary of State noted that it has become a good tradition on the eve of the national holiday - Independence Day to present state awards and prizes to Kazakhstanis who have been awarded by the Head of State for special merits and personal contribution to the development of the country.
"In the year of the 26th anniversary of our independence, more than 1,700 people were awarded high awards. We perceive this as a high assessment of the activities of people who have contributed to strengthening our independence and the prosperity of our people," Gulshara Abdykalikova said.
Among the awardees are cultural, educational, scientific, healthcare, civil servants, representatives of various sectors of the economy, workers and rural workers.
The 2017 Al-Farabi State Prize in Science and Technology was awarded to Aidarkhan Mukhtar, Head of the Ore Dressing Laboratory of the National Center for Integrated Processing of Mineral Raw Materials of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Committee for Industrial Development and Industrial Safety of the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Academician of the Kazakhstan National Academy of Natural Sciences Albert Rau and others.
As the Secretary of State noted, thanks to the implementation of the strategic course of Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, aimed at improving the welfare of the people, the Republic of Kazakhstan has become a modern successful state. Today, Kazakhstan is at the stage of systemic modernization transformations. The country continues to industrialize in order to achieve global competitiveness. The long-term Strategy 2050 is being consistently implemented.
G.Abdykalikova stressed that this year a national project was successfully implemented - the Astana International Specialized Exhibition EXPO-2017, which was attended by 115 countries and 22 international organizations. Kazakhstan is the first CIS country to become a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council.
At the end of the ceremony, Secretary of State G.N. Abdykalikova congratulated those present on the upcoming Independence Day, wishing them good health, family well-being and great success.

Указанные факторы сдерживают привлечение инвестиций и препятствуют эффективному вовлечению техногенных отходов в промышленное производство.
