The experimental complex "Center of Metallurgy in the East Kazakhstan region", which has no analogues in Kazakhstan, is being commissioned in the East Kazakhstan region (East Kazakhstan region), the correspondent of KazTAG.
"At the metallurgy center, we will conduct low-tonnage tests to develop technological regulations for new technologies for processing mineral raw materials, crushing and screening processes, forming bulk materials and producing compact products for powder metallurgy and processing coal and carbon-containing materials," UEC Deputy Director Aidarkhan Kaldasov told KazTAG on Friday.
According to him, waste from thermal power plants and metallurgical enterprises will be used in the processing process, technologies for the production of refractories, coke, bricks from ash, etc. will be developed.
The UEC building is located in the northern industrial zone of Ust-Kamenogorsk, in the building of an inactive boiler house. The reconstruction started this year will be completed in 2013.
