Launch of pilot production of ammonium perrenate

22.07.2019

On July 19, 2019, in Almaty, the RSE "National Center for Integrated Processing of Mineral Raw Materials of the Republic of Kazakhstan" carried out a preliminary launch of pilot production of ammonium perrenate at the pilot complex of the National Center.

The pilot production is being launched as part of the project to commercialize the results of scientific and technical activities "Organization of the production of ammonium perrenate from rare metal man-made raw materials", funded by JSC "Science Foundation".

The purpose of pilot production is to obtain rhenium salt from man-made raw materials.

The novelty of the project is the development of an innovative technology for the extraction of rhenium involving the processing of man-made raw materials of complex composition.

As part of the production, it is planned to produce up to 300 kg/year of ammonium perrenate. Involvement in the processing of man-made raw materials with the development of cost-effective technology for the extraction of rare metals makes it possible to obtain rhenium products with added value.

The opening was attended by Managing Director/Director of the Department of Organization of expertise of JSC "Science Foundation" Myltykbayeva L.A., General Director of the RSE "National Center for Integrated Processing of Mineral Raw Materials of the Republic of Kazakhstan" Zharmenov A.A., First Deputy General Director of the RSE "NC KPMS RK" Terlikbayeva A.Zh., project manager Berdikulova F.A. employees The Center, etc.

The Managing Director made a welcoming speech JSC "Science Foundation" Myltykbayeva L.A., General Director of RSE "NC KPMS RK" Zharmenov A.A.
